Entire House Rental
Sumitsugu House West is a 60-year-old wooden single-story house renovated for exclusive use. It features a dining table, sofa, balcony, parquet floors, and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen includes a washing machine, electric kettle, and cookware. The property blends original Japanese fittings like shoji screens with modern systems.
Pottery Experience Available
Guests can book a pottery experience to create a future capsule and figurine using the tatara technique. The process spans multiple days and includes forming, decorating, bisque firing at 750-780°C, glazing, and final firing at 1230-1280°C. Finished pieces are mailed to your home approximately three months later.

Local Fruit Delivery
Guests can order seasonal fruit assortments from Kumamoto Prefecture for delivery to the house. The assortment costs 3000 yen for approximately three servings. Orders must be placed by 4 PM on the day of arrival or at booking time. Payment is handled onsite.
